RANGERS International Soccer Academy can today announce a new, three-year partnership with Riverside Football Club in South Africa. The partnership marks a first in the region for the Rangers International Soccer Academy, which will see Rangers Soccer Academy staff and coaches work closely with the club to assist with player development and coach education. The news follows recent announcements for the Soccer Academy team as they add to their growing portfolio across the globe.

Gary Gibson, Head of Soccer Academies and International Relations at Rangers, commented: “We are excited to be entering a three-year agreement with Riverside FC, even more so as it is the first of its kind for Rangers International Soccer Academy in South Africa. “Our coaching staff will head across to deliver a five-day camp event in July this year at their excellent facilities, and we will look to make a positive impact on as many young people and coaches as we can through our on-the-ground activities and the Rangers Online Academy. “I would like to thank Darryl Foley, COO at Response BPO, for all his efforts in making this happen and we look forward to working with Edward Abraham, Riverside FC Chairman, and all the staff.”

Edward Abraham, Riverside FC Chairman, added: “I am incredibly proud to announce Riverside FC’s official partnership with the esteemed Rangers FC and their renowned Soccer Academy. “This collaboration represents a significant step forward for our club, offering invaluable opportunities for player development, coaching exchange, and mutual growth. “We are thrilled to be associated with such a prestigious organisation and its rich footballing heritage. This partnership signifies our unwavering commitment to fostering a world-class environment for our players and staff, ultimately achieving excellence on the pitch. “This is an exciting chapter for Riverside FC, and I am confident that this collaboration will prove highly beneficial for both clubs.”
